LGA Summer Film Workshop
I just finished teaching a 3-week summer film workshop in association with Looking Glass Arts. The workshop took a group of high school filmmakers and actors through a full production process: writing to storyboarding to shooting+ lighting to editing and scoring.
Everyone involved is pretty amazing – especially the student filmmakers who are an amazingly bright, talented, creative group of people. By the end of the workshop, they made some wonderful shorts.
For anyone in the Boulder/Denver area who might be interested in future workshops, check out Looking Glass Arts’ website: lookingglassarts.org
On the last day of class, wiped-out from editing all-week, we unwound a bit by shooting this impromptu lip dub to ‘Help!’ I think it appropriately showcases the awesomeness of everyone involved.

This is really a great thing. These young people in your program have really shown how valuable Josh Shayne’s instruction is. I went to this screening and was impressed by the finished projects. Josh knows his stuff!
