Josh Shayne

is an award-winning writer/director and the creator of Floating Lightbulb Films. A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, his films and commercial works have garnered much acclaim.

Some of his previous credits include the films, “Lei Parla Amore? (Do You Speak Love?)”; “Le Voyeur” (which aired on IFC in 2007); and, most recently, “Tempting Charles Warner.” His film “NYU and YOU” is screened every year for the incoming class of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

His many accolades include the prestigious Russell Hexter Grant for excellence in Filmmaking (2005); New York University’s Faculty Commendation in Directing (2006); and “the Best New Director” of Cinema Classics Filmmaker Showcase (2004).  Josh Shayne’s films have been screened in various film festivals from coast-to-coast and on national television.

Mr. Shayne is currently developing projects for both film and theatre.
